WITHIN BLACK, WITHIN WHITE, AND OTHER PATHS
The exhibition Within Black, Within White, and Other Paths presents an impressive journey curated from carefully selected works spanning Artin Demirci’s rich production over many years. SPACE IN ARCHITECTURE, LITERATURE, AND GRAPHIC DESIGN Ayşegül İzer
We know that the concept of space, which is the fundamental subject of architecture, has been the topic of many researches and books due to the diversity of meanings and permeability it exhibits in different disciplines ranging from mathematics to geometry, from physics to philosophy. ON THE TRAIL OF THE ARCHAIC AND MODERN
"Monolithic and weary" surfaces, "dusty and patinated" surfaces... In lzer's paintings surfaces are indeed of a great importance. At the outcome, alluding to the surfaces of Tapies, Izer's surfaces are those "touched up by the history".
